Sp00l: hehe ^^
Sp00l: I don't even know what thanksgiving is all about
Sp00l: I can guess
Kekko: pilgrims roasted an Indian and ate it
Sp00l: it's a holliday where you give stuff to people less fortuante?
Kekko: and then they remembered manners and said "thank you" after dinner
Sp00l: Kekko: err... nooo, I don't think so ^^
Sp00l: that just CAN'T be true ^^
Kekko: it just sounded like a good theory
Sp00l: no it didn't! it shows that you don't know much about X you know ^_^
Nehelania: ALRIGHT! I'll tell you about Thanksgiving
Sp00l: do that please ^_^;
Kekko: well, I *must* admit that the connection between X and Thanksgiving is a bit obscure to me :-P
Sp00l: now it REALLY shows you know
Sp00l: ;D
Nehelania: alright, in 1621, I believe, the pilgrims came to the New World in search of freedom from repression, when they got here, they were in a for a big surprise and didn't know how to work the land or anything. If it weren't for Squanto, the Indian who somehow learned English, they would have died. The Indians showed the Pilgrims how to work the land and saved them from the harsh winter by sharing their crops.
Nehelania: so the next year, the Pilgrims invited the Indians over to share in a feast in thanks
Sp00l: oooh..
Kekko: what did they raise on fields?
Nehelania: corn ;P
Nehelania: or so I was told
Nehelania: so, Kekko, now you know that the Pilgrims didn't roast an Indian and said thank you afterwards
Sp00l: hehe ^^
Kekko: I tank thee
Kekko: thank even
Kekko: now I also understand why we don't have thanksgiving in Finland. Corn has never grown here.

Oooooh.... Europeans should have useless holidays such as Thanksgiving. I wonder if I messed up the story of Thanksgiving.
